Hervey Bay es la principal puerta de entrada para la Isla de Fraser, a parte del puerto, encontraremos sus playas y una pasarela de 800 metros que se adentra en el mar.

Población: 52.000 habitantes

Solo estoy una tarde en Hervey Bay, el tiempo justo para dar una vuelta por el puerto deportivo de Urangan, caminar por las playas hasta el Muelle de Urangan. Este muelle es una pasarela de 800 metros que se adentra en el mar lleno de pescadores y de gente paseando.
Para acabar la tarde y antes de ir al Hostel, me dirijo hasta el Botanic Gardens, para hacerle una visita relámpago.

Colonial Village YHA
Situado a 5 minutos a pie del puerto, es un pequeño hostel, muy acogedor, cada habitación son bungaló con Wc y ducha privados, tiene piscina, y para mi lo mas hermoso es el salón recibidor, una gran sala medio abierta donde se ve la piscina, con música, mesas, zona para leer y tomar algo. Se respira mucha tranquilidad.
